Dr. Mark Liker MD, FAANS. FACS
President / Owner
Dr. Mark Liker is a World-renowned Neurosurgeon and is the founder, owner and President of BrainStim Centers, Inc.
Dr. Liker attended Princeton University in New Jersey, where he studied mechanical and aerospace engineering while completing the necessary requirements for medical school matriculation. In 1995, Dr. Liker completed his medical degree with honors from the State University of New York and continued his medical training at the Keck Medical Center at the University of Southern California (USC) and Los Angeles County Medical Center.
Dr. Liker expects the highest standard of care not only in his private practice but in his TMS Clinics as well. He believes by using the Nexstim Smartfocus equipment, qEEG, and Cambridge Brain Science testing he and his staff can create a plan for each patient to receive optimal brain health.
Executive VP of Operations
Joella Williams is the Executive VP of Operations at Brainstim Centers. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations for the Performing Arts with a minor in Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completed graduate courses in the Music Therapy and Master’s of Public Administration programs from California State University Northridge. Joella’s unique educational experiences in both music and business have afforded her the opportunity to be both business savvy while having direct understanding of the patient process. Joella has been instrumental in building BrainStim Centers from its inception and is excited about observing its patient progress using TMS treatments. Joella occasionally performs on a variety of musical instruments. However, she is also a beloved author of a children’s book series that explains how to read music using rhyming bedtime stories.
Sonja Hillman Suchy
Director of Human Resources and Patient Communication
Sonja Hillman Suchy, SHRM-SCP is Director of Human Resources and Patient Communication with BrainStim Centers. She is very likely to be your first point of contact and would like you to know that she is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our community. Sonja has worked as a consultant in human resources and leadership for years since managing banks in Washington D.C. When she was younger, she lived in Paris, attended U.C. Berkeley, taught middle school science and English and had a business in design work. She looks forward to working with you throughout your healthcare journey.
Neuromodulation Specialist/Valencia Office
Tiana Calver is a Neuromodulation Specialist in Valencia. Tiana is born and raised in Southern California. She attended College of the Canyons here in Valencia and finished up her schooling at California State University Northridge receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Tiana has previous experience working with Autistic youth and young adults along with working in a group home after graduating in 2021. Tiana has a strong passion for Neuropsychology with aspirations to get her doctorate in Neuropsychology and focus on research in Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients. In her free time, Tiana enjoys being outdoors in nature and traveling to add to her sticker collection.
Neuromodulation Specialist/Encino Office
Jasmine Wynn is a Neuromodulation Specialist located in our Encino office. Jasmine grew up in Santa Monica, California and is inspired by the human brain and helping people. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC San Diego. Jasmine comes to Brainstim Centers following experience in the home health business. In her free time, she loves to paint, hike, and shop for records for her collection. Jasmine is remarkable for her kind and thoughtful nature.
Neuromodulation Specialist & Application Researcher
Maxwell Hand is our newest neuromodulation specialist and Application Researcher. Max was born and raised in Santa Clarita, California. He has spent the last 5 years living in Washington state where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Western Washington University. Max has a passion for human behavior, the brain, and research. He hopes to pursue a Ph.D. at some point in the future and continue to be at the forefront of Human Neuroscience research. When he isn’t in the office, he spends his time cooking for his friends and family and exploring nature.
