Brain Performance

This non-invasive, drug-free treatment can optimize your brain performance
and make you feel like yourself again!

brain performanceHere we are, living on planet Earth in the 21st century, where high levels of stress are just part of the daily routine. And while there are many ways to cope, there’s no question that chronic stress, health issues, and simply aging can all take a toll on your mind and body.

Moreover, those issues can affect your brain performance. Even if you’re a relatively healthy person, you may not feel as good as you used to—or as mentally sharp. Following are some symptoms of decreased brain performance:

  • Poor concentration
  • Lack of energy
  • Burnout
  • Decreased motivation
  • Feeling overwhelmed
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Brain fog
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Reduced ability to handle stress
  • Memory issues
  • Overall feelings of dullness or numbness
  • Feeling like you’ve lost your competitive edge

But you don’t have to keep letting these symptoms get the best of you. That’s because we can optimize your brain performance with MeRT, or Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy. As a result, you can regain your vitality and start living life to the fullest again!

The MeRT Approach to Optimizing Brain Performance

Brain performanceYour brain is as unique as your fingerprints. In fact, no two brains ever function exactly the same. Therefore, we customize the MeRT treatment protocol specifically for you.

So, what is MeRT and how does it work? MeRT is a cutting-edge treatment combining Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG), and Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG). In short, by using this combination of technologies, we can analyze and formulate treatments tailored to your unique brain pattern.

Additionally, the equipment used in MeRT treatment has been FDA-cleared for depression and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). It is also used “off label” to treat brain conditions such as anxiety, traumatic brain injury (TBI)/concussion, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism, developmental disabilities, dementia, and after-effects of stroke.

Because the benefits of MeRT are all-encompassing, this treatment can also successfully be used to optimize brain performance.

Benefits of MeRT *brain performance

Following are some of the most common benefits of MeRT:

  • Improved sleep
  • Better focus and concentration
  • Improved motivation
  • Better mood
  • Increased ability to cope with stress
  • Clearer thinking
  • Better decision-making ability
  • More energy
  • Greater sociability
  • Elevated sports performance for athletes
  • Fewer cravings (such as alcohol or drugs)
  • Improved self-esteem and self-confidence
If your cognitive performance isn’t what it used to be, then MeRT can help you regain your mental sharpness and feel like yourself again!

Take the easy Steps to Determine if MeRT is the Right Treatment

It’s difficult to know, just from reading this, if MeRT is the right treatment for you. Because we understand this, we know that your first step needs to be a simple one: a phone consultation with our New Patient Coordinator. During this call, you can discuss your symptoms and history, ask questions, and have her explain the protocols, fees, and treatment details.

Then, if you are interested in taking the next step, we can set up an appointment for an EEG (a simple, non-invasive brain scan) and a second appointment for a consultation with neurosurgeon Dr. Mark Liker, our Medical Director.

Once we have analyzed your test results, you will have a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Liker. You can either attend this appointment in person or, if you wish, you can attend virtually. During this time, you will discuss your symptoms and he will go over the treatment protocols with you. You can also ask him further questions so that together, you can determine if you are a candidate for treatment.

Assessment Period

Following this, if you and the doctor both determine that MeRT may be the right treatment, the next step is an Assessment Period. This entails a short period of treatment, followed by a new EEG in order to see if you are responding to the treatment.

We assess this based on the new EEG results, as well as symptom improvements. If there is a positive response to treatment during the assessment period, you will have likely noticed some improvements. At that point, we can then schedule the rest of the treatment.

So, as you can see, there are many steps involved in ensuring that you receive only treatment that will benefit you.

If you would like more information, then please review the many RESEARCH STUDIES that have been done.

I have been struggling with insomnia for the past 6 years. Most doctors have just prescribed me medications with horrible side effects. I then found Brainstim Centers. I received 36 treatments and I could not have imagined such improvement in my sleep. I went from averaging 4 hours of sleep a night to 8 hours a night after the treatment. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special shout-out to Christy and Alex.
